Floral Overload

Florals For Spring, Groundbreaking. (No really…..Groundbreaking) From the looks of that title, Im pretty sure you thought you knew what this article was gonna be about. A conversation about women’s fashion and the use of floral print this season? You may have even been struck with the flashback of the iconic line featured in the aforementioned title, from the hit film “The Devil Wears Prada”. You would be right about the latter, and absolutely incorrect about the former. Men are finally embracing the idea of incorporating different prints, textures and colors into their wardrobe and floral print is a hit amongst the male consumer this season. High end brands such as Gucci and Versace have both featured the popular trend in their latest collections for men, and the trend has even trickled down into current brands that offer a version of mens fast fashion ( IE: Asos, Zara etc..) Urban men’s fashion trends have seen the largest gradual progression from the days of baggy style hip hop brand fashion, to scaring away from the metrosexual trends of the mid 2000, to where we are today. We are in a climate we’re urban mens fashion influencers aren’t afraid to tap into new grounds in expressing their fashion, and brands are definitely taking notice. Hence why your favorite rappers are influencing the expansion of major fashion houses, with many seeking direct guidance from these entities ( See Dolce & Gabbana’s most recent runway shows) So the question is, are you gonna hop on trend ? And if so how will you rock your floral. #Floral #Flavors #Culture
